RBUMC has many small groups available for those who wish to delve deeper into their study of the Word and Practice of the Christian faith. 

United Methodist Women

All women & high school age and up are invited to participate in the UMW quarterly gatherings. The UMW supports the LaVie Pregnancy Care Center (sponsored by Mission Lexington) throughout the year by donations of items for “care bags”. 

 

Margaret Jett Circle

The Margaret Jett Circle is a small group of Christian Women who meet monthly in the Church Fellowship Hall. The circles primary goal is to grow in our faith through study and fellowship with each other. The group is very mission-minded and support a different mission project each month through their gifts or money, as well as, collect monthly funds for the Church Building Improvement Fund. 

The Circle Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 pm.

Friendship Circle

The Friendship Circle is a community of Christian women called to dicipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Circle commits themselves to grow in faith, support one another in their callings, to serve in mionistry and missions and to promote unity and wholeness in the church and the world. This circle is open to all women of the church. 

The Circle Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.

United Methodist Men

The UMM join together in mission and Christian Fellowship the help each other live out commitment to God, family, and the Church. Their call is for Men of the United Methodist Church to be involved intentionally in bearing witness to our Christian values to those around them.

Join the UMM as they share together monthly with Bible study, dinner and planning their many missions and annual trips for the year. 

 

Small Group Ministries

Band of Brothers

Band of Brothers is a small group of men that meet on Thursday eventings to strenghthen their walk with God. They support each other with spiritual and personal support when needed.

Faith Friends

Faith Friends is a group of sisters in Chirst who meet at 10:00 am on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month. They encourage each other in their spiritual walk with the Lord, support each other with prayers and comfort in time of need.

Golden Agers

All those 55+ in age are welcome to join the Golden Agers for their monthly gatherings around food, fellowship, and growth in Christ. The group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am.

The Red Bank Prayer Stitchers

Our Prayer Quilting group is a member of the national group Prayers and Squares. The group meets twice monthly, the 1st & 3rd Thrusday at 5:00 pm. The group makes mini pocket prayer quilts, prayer squares, prayer shawls and prayer quilts. Experience is not Necessary.

Sisters by Faith

Sister’s by Faith is a small group women’s Bible study focused on life application Bible studies. They come together to learn about Jesus and how to focus and reflect His love in our daily lives. The group meets weekly at 6:00 pm on Tuesday nights.

RBUMC Choir

RBUMC’s Adult Choir consists of brothers and sisters in Christ of all ages, gifts, talents and backgrounds. The choir supports the 8:50 worship service with song leaders and 11:00 service with the full choir providing a well balanced mix of Traditional, Southern Gospel, and Contemporary music. Choir rehearsal is each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the choir room.
